What's Worth Committing To?
June, 2000

We left this meeting with many questions...

How can we be visible with humility?

  What is worth living for?

How do we deal with the dilemma of being who we've been, unable to change overnight, yet knowing that's not what we want to be?

What is integrity? How do I reconcile this with the identities I try on and change? Could part of me be in integrity anyway? Is there a natural moment of action, necessary for integrity?

As we explore collective intelligence, what will it look like? Will it have the same elements as individual intelligence?

How can it be that we are so unable to heal ourselves that a commitment to something higher leads to suffering?

What would a spiritual democracy look like?

What part of ourselves do we shut down, make numb, in order to keep going? How do we connect, knowing we and others have shut down part of ourselves?
